What to Expect on Our Tours

Each educational tour lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours and is designed for students aged 9–16 (groups of up to 30). Our bilingual guides conduct the program in English, Mandarin, or Cantonese.

The tour is divided into two segments:

Medical Insects & Healthcare

  • Learn about Maggot Debridement Therapy (MDT) at Cuprina, and how maggots help patients with chronic wounds.

  • Hands-on interaction with live insects including maggots, blowflies, and stick insects.

  • A guided look inside our insect rearing and insectary facility.

Pollination & Agritech

  • Explore how insects like bees, flies, and predatory species play a crucial role in pollination and natural pest management.

  • Learn how insects are being integrated into indoor farm environments.

  • Understand the growing role of insects in building a more sustainable future for agriculture.
